Does anybody else here wait tables?

I used to. I hated it. Understaffed and busy ftl...

I liked doing private functions though

On an average night I make a good 80-90 dollars on tips for 7 hours. Fridays and Saturdays I make 120 plus

Im thinking about getting into bartending...sounds like its easier than waiting tables...

on a night shift, like $200, lunch shift, around $100... more or less. 40 hours/week you can make about $1000

Even if you make money, with that condescending attitude you won't amount to anything in life.
agreed. but a lot of people are working at restaurants to pay their ways through college... so that they can eventually have a career.

I thought waiters/waitresses couldn't get good tips due to the recession...guess not.
