Wear em ive owned J's for the last 12 yrs. And I can still wear them no Ds pairs ever but some people have had bad experiences unDsing shoes years later. So I wont risk it but at the end of the day no matter how you look at it they are shoes that are supposed to b on your feet.

A member here posted a thread about his bad experience with his Jordan 11 Space Jam that he's been storing for a while.

well, i personally like to put mine on from time to time jus to keep them in motion. i have heard too many stories about ppl keepin a certain jordan ds denputtin them on and the paint cracks or chips, or the sole comes off etc. im not beat. i copped to rock so i rock. i jus know to circulate and clean em to keepthem fresh.

The only sneakers that are DS in my collection are from 1995 and down. I'm afraid that if I UNDS, they might break on me.
Other than that, I wear all of my sneakers.

Jordans are pieces of artwork for me and I have loved them since the 80's. In fact whenever I have a nice pair I just love looking at them for a while andjust go over every detail. My advise for you would be to always buy 2 pairs of a Jordan you love, one to roc and one to stock. While knowing you have a new DSpair at home is nice, it will also be even better wearing them.

as long as you look at your j's every week or every month to see they're not being damaged you should be fine. keep them in a dark cool dry place is avery good start.

look for yellowing on white colored areas is a sign of dirty air which you should move your shoes to a cleaner area or use silica.

look for the air bubbles start to get cloudy. this means there is an air leak and the support of the air bubble will be gone and your midsoles will be takingall of the weight of your body when you wear them which can lead to your midsoles to crack.

check how hard your midsoles are and see if they look dry. put your j's on every now and them to keep the midsoles flexible. if not they might crack if themidsoles have not been flexed or pressed with your weight for a long time.

the most important is to see that your midsoles on your j's are not dry cuz if they are R.I.P.......

Only keep them DS if you want to sell/trade them later on so they are worth something.

I have a few ds pairs, but try to get into a pretty decent rotation as to wear a lot of them regularly.
