Occured back in 2007 I believe.

Nuggets inbounding...Sheed steals the ball with 1.3 seconds left in the 4th quarter (with the Pistons down by 3) and throws the ball from 3/4 down the courtinto the Pistons hoop to tie the game.

Pistons then went on to win in OT.

IYO....worthy of being in the NBA Top 5 Buzzer-Beaters of All Time?

what are the current top 5 buzzer beaters? Jordan over Russell is a given. Jordan over Ehlo? Derek Fisher? Loose ball to Horry? I'd have to know the top 5before making any judgments. But I'd highly doubt it because I'd assume the top 5 would all be playoff atmosphere type basketball

Yeah, it's up there...when you factor these three things
1. they were down by 2
2. it was the other team's position
3. it was beyond halfcourt

Actually they were down 3...then the game went into overtime and they won.

Everyone...peep 0:27-0:31 on the video

People walking up the stairs ready to leave on the 2nd deck whip around when they hear the whole arena cheering

Jordan over Ehlo is in my Top 5.

I think you're aiming your post Lakersfan1?

Yeah, he posted those 3. But mostly everyone thinks Jordan over Ehlo when they think buzz beater.

I remember watching that live on NBA TV, I couldn't believe what I saw. It was pretty damn amazing.

I'd have to look into it though.

Looking at some on YT real quick, ACTUAL BUZZER BEATERS WITH NO TIME LEFT.

Bird in the corner VS Portland.
David Lee tap-in
Hedo to Dwight in-bound dunk against San Antonio
Devin Harris bobble-prayer.

Also, does the buzzer beater HAVE to be at the end of the game?

My favorite buzzer-beaters (although some didn't actually beat a buzzer):

Rex Chapman's crazy fade-away three-pointer off the inbounds pass from the opposite side.

David Lee's insane tip-in off the inbounds pass with 0.1 seconds on the clock.

Allan Houston sinks the game-winning, series-ending floater.

Here is a mad underrated one from the 2000-01 season. LOL, look at the situation: There is 1.8 seconds left of the game. The Nets are up by 2 and have theball, inbounding it at the half court. The guy steals the ball and hits a miracle 3. The Nets lose. You'll have to watch the countdown, but it's the #1play:
