Even Dr Dre said it himself on MTV years ago That The Chronic was better

i can see how some will say doggystyle's better, but i'm partial to the chronic cuz it came first...
it's like tha begining of a nu era or somethin

It's like Suge Debo'd Dre and told him to put all of his best beats on Doggystyle, and Dre obeyed. Snoop was hungry lyrically, and matched withDre's brilliance, they produced a Masterpiece.

This is true that The Chronic had a sound that was new and unheard of before, but when Doggystyle came out it took that whole sound to a completelydifferent level even though it was crafted by all the same people involved in the Chronic ie: Dre, and Daz but basically they did a better job with the album

The only thing that gets me about Doggystyle is "Lodi Dodi." I think it was an excellent tribute, but IMO, it falls short of the OG classic, and thatkinda bugs me. I don't know. I'm sure it's only me.
