Well, to an extent for adults, but it has different effects on developing minds. That's a process that needs to take place in a totally unaltered environment. Besides that, inhaling combustible material is bad for anybody.

EDIT: This isn't locked on topic, but I always found it interesting that some people will demonize children smoking weed (as they should) but not bat an eye at flipping prescription pills down a 5 year old kid's throat like Pez because he has the attention span of a 5 year old.
