The Visalia Ransacker (the guy in custody) was a guy who would just ransack your house without taking anything of value... but crazy stuff like dishes and personal effects.

Responsible for over 151 ransackings...

It hit the fan when he killed someone then they started to search for him, and he shot at a cop shattering his flashlight and getting the shrapnel in the cops face!!

But so begins the chapter of the East Area Rapist....

he wouldn't become the Original Night Stalker until some years later... I guess we'll figure that out soon because it seems like he's talking.
