Why south anger? You said every one of his wins he had to go on the road on the other teams turf. Did you not? I said yeah he did except for one win in the first round. If your Just talking about a certain game or just road games that's fine. You said every game referring to his playoffs games then I asked a question wasn't it this season he had a home playoff game. Genius? Why mention being on the road of your only talking about road games anyways.

This is to the point where it's just funny. Eli better than Peyton? If Eli is better than Peyton, he's also better than Rodgers and Brees.

Talk about prisoners of the moment. 7 weeks ago Eli was about to get the coach fired.

Basically, y'all saying Eli is now top 10 All time cause Peyton and Brady are definitely top 10 All Time.

Didn't say what would of or could of happened they won and I said they did. You got upset because I asked about a home playoff game. His stats don't lie. No would of not thrown 129 picks. Then someone brought up if he would of have peytons team. Those are would haves. I just said keep it in perspective. He's great. Just not greatest of all time. What dont you get about that. I like him but disagree with some of your points. Guess that's not ok.

Peyton was a dropped post by Garcon from more than likely going up 17-3, worst case 13-3 in the first half and getting the ball back after half.  That play turned the entire game around and is more than likely cost Peyton his 2nd ring.  Don't get it confused that Pick with 3:30 to go was [IMG] but that Garcon play killed the colts rhythm and Brees just bled them slow in the 2nd half [IMG]

Nah you're wrong on the whole "the whole city was trashing Eli."

The consensus in NY all year has been, without Eli this team is competing for a top ten pick.  NY media has always said he was carrying the team.

That secondary was playing as bad as New England's.

How was Eli gettin the coach fired? He's been carrying this team on his back all year. Eli ain't better than Peyton period. Eli is definitely gaining on him. He broke Peyton's record this year for 4th qrt TD's. Eli this year did what Peyton has done his whole career, carry a team. Peyton hasn't had the D-line to back him up like Eli. But like I said lil bro is gaining on him. 7 - 1 on the road in the playoffs.....

No, I'm still right, and it wasn't a clever response. It was the truth. No one counts those three Super Bowls when discussing Tom Brady because they were won with blatant cheating. People can say that "every team does it!" and stuff like that, but at the end of the day, the Patriots are the team that got caught. If this was the NCAA, they'd be stripped of their titles, but the NFL swept it under the rug. It's really sad, actually, that folks think Tom Brady is a Super Bowl winning QB. I'm sure some Tom Brady stan will come in here with "U MAD?" pictures, but no, I'm far from mad. Actually, after last night, I'm quite happy.

Eli Manning owns Tom Brady's soul, and that's all I need to say.

Eli & Tom will both be in the HOF, though. So let's just move on.

^ I never said Romo was better than Eli. The Vick part was a joke based on the people saying Vick was better than Brady last year

Yeah, you did actually, and brought up QB rating as your supporting argument.

....and you used that same QB rating argument as your basis to say Alex Smith played better than Eli in the NFC championship game.

I can't defend Eli vs Alex smith.. Don't really know who can in how they played that game. Same with yesterday. Eli out played Brady hands down. He also won the game.

Still have to come down to hof what the topic was. Hof isn't based off of one game or one playoffs. Hall of fame is your entire body of work. Greatest all time and best this season are way different. Showing up in the big game and showing up consistently in your career are different. I understand Eli won yesterday but how many of you are actually serious thinking Eli is one of the best of all time and think he's the best qb in the league with his entire body of work. He's hof but just being a realist Eli can not be mentioned in greatest of all time. He just can't.

^ no, I actually did not. Work on your reading comprehension. I said that if you are just going on stats alone, then Romo is better than Eli. No where did I say that my actual opinion was that Romo was better than Eli.

[IMG]no one counts his 3 super bowl wins? ok you got it bro [IMG]

gotta love dudes who take their opinion to be the gospel on something so because you say that dont count means they dont count?

and honestly your the first person I've ever heard make that argument "if this was the ncaa" if this was the ncaa the pats and packers would've played without a playoff but it aint

    They don't hear you though.
The NFL is too balls deep in the patriots organization and their own image to even punish them fairly for the despicable act they committed.

When you're looking at a QB or any leader of your team no matter what sport it is, you want someone who performs in the big moments, someone who is always even kill, and someone who always get it done when it matters most.

I almost compare it to LBJ vs. Kobe. Lebron overall has the better individual stats, but Kobe has the stats that matter.

So when it comes to Eli vs. Peyton, I'm rolling with Eli simply because he has a better postseason record than Peyton, more championships than Peyton, and he was able to beat a team twice that Peyton has struggled to overcome his whole career.

I'm not saying Eli is on some sort of Montana or Elway level, but Peyton has always been one of those guys that always seems to fall short and shrink in the big moments.

I think the point he's trying to make is that usually when a team or player gets caught cheating, especially on the level that they were, they're usually stripped of their achievements.
