Since when did anybody mention going to a state school? You're one to come in here all hostile and uppity acting like an Ivy-league educationis the only one worth noting a grade for, huh? The principle of the matter is the guy worked for his grade, and to have a professional lose a wholecourse's work like that should not happen. School is about learning, but more or less you're there to get that damn diploma and if you want to attendgrad school you've got to have the grades to show for it.

You must not have read the post. The people who replied to this thread made ignorant comments ie. "She should lose her job"
Now I can not justify a person losing their job bc of 1 class of missing course work. Professor lost your papers, and youre just going go off on her bc yournot going to have your grades on time? I'm plenty sure the OP and his classmates will get the grade they deserve if not a grade they DO NOT deserve.

basically. This is an easy A for anyone in the class. Whatever she gave you an F/D/or C on just rewrite/correct it.

I understand exactly how you feel... happened to me fall semester. I ended up gettin an incomplete in the class which screwed my gpa up and i ended up onacademic probation. They later changed it to an A... but its too late cuz they actually put me on probation and they cant evaluate gpa's til the end of theyear... screwed up this spring so now im on academic suspension. Those teachers FTL!

I had a similar situation in a soc class I was in. The teacher about half of the classes tests in his car and it got stolen. The car was recovered about 4 dayslater stripped and sitting on blocks. He just let the people effected take the test again.
Point is OP its not that big of a deal, you have all of your papers right? Just turn em back in and get your grade. Besides the fact that you can make thecorrections she pointed out in your papers and possibly get a 4.0 for the class. This is a gift not a curse.

I had a similar situation. There's this teacher who had a well earned reputation of being the easiest in the school, in his fist day of class speech hewould always even say, "If you can't get an A in my class, you're not college material," but for whatever reason I guess all of a sudden hewanted to change that and he just for no reason gave out a bunch of F's, C's, and D's. Well everyone in that class got called down to theChairman's office at some point to discuss him, and whether or not he kept us abreast of our grades, what assignments had we done and what did we get,basically the chair second guessing him, and dude overturned all his grades and everybody who had him for any class that semester got an A. I had an F

yeah this teacher lost all my homework once, and i had 100 out of 100 points, he puts it in as a ZEROOOO!!!! I was so heated and when I talked to him bout ithe says, "well ill just give you a 90, cuz thats an A too"
