You should talk "your team" Liverpool are the Raiders of the EPL. Success in the 70s and 80s. Nothing in the 90s. Some success at the beginning of the century but lately not so much.
Atleast the Raiders have some real talent and have a bright future...Liverpool will not turn around soon...Liverpool will continue to habitually get dismantled by Man U, Chelsea and now Man City

Yeah I agree ESPN sucks period.
If it wasn't for PTI and around the horn, and obviously the games (NFL & NBA) I would have stopped watching them a long time ago.
Sportscenter is a joke compared to what it was in the 90's when guys like Dan Patrick were on it.
I seriously hope when the NBA's TV contract is up that ESPN & ABC don't get the deal and that the NBA goes back to NBC.

OP you do know ESPN is involved with Grantland right? You are still supporting ESPN...
Also, hoping this new NBC Sports will challenge ESPN. They have some good shows set up so far.

Well Peep, to me (not to take this away from sports) I almost welcome the known bias as opposed to trying to hide and fool everyone. But all media needs bias, if they didn't have it, they wouldn't be in business (as I said, read M.C.)

I only watch PTI and NBA games on ESPN. I choose not to watch anything else, mainly because ESPN gives so little air time to the NBA and is mostly non-stop baseball and football talk. I watch more NBATV/TNT than ESPN. Much better analysis, better broadcasts, and no BS (by that I mean Bull-S, not Bill Simmons).
Wilbon seems to get to take shots at ESPN, which is weird because he is a full-time employee now. On one hand he's become a shill for the network (and the NBA front office), but he also isn't afraid to take some shots at it.

ESPN is awful now, over the last year or two it's turned into TMZ with all the petty drama and race BS. I'm tired of it but there's not any other options to watch. MLB network is cool
SMH at the guy saying thank God for NFL network. Sapp, Irvin or Deion feel like it's necessary and cool to be extra, dancing and screaming 24/7 which is just stupid.

That's probably the only thing that bothered me about ESPN, who they basically let UT strong-arm them for their own network. I'm from Texas, but have supported all the
underdog Texas teams (TCU, Tech, UH, A&M, Baylor, Rice sort of, etc), and the UT network just screams "HEY, LOOK AT US!!!". How were they able to do that in
the midst of a mediocre season anyway??
