Can someone please help me out and get both Mock Drafts so I can compare their picks for my TEXANS!!!

KIPER

This is the last big NFL draft primer before the scene really shiftsfor good. That's because with the NFL combine next week, it's not justabout those remarkable 40 times, it's about NFL personnel peoplefinding out whether a guy really is who they believe he is. It'samazing how many times NFL personnel folks come away shocked that aplayer is 5-foot-11, not 6-1, or 230 pounds as opposed to the 248 he'dbeen listed at. Remember that my Big Board and position group rankings really help in understanding overall draft value.

Somethings that stand out in this second mock draft are a jump forquarterback Jimmy Clausen, who I think will emerge strong from theworkout and interview process; eight new names; multiple shifts indraft choices and the degree to which defense dominates. Twenty picksfall on that side of the ball.

1.png

[h6]St. Louis Rams[/h6]
Record: 1-15

stl.gif

Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska

Clearly, the Rams need to figure out who will take the snaps, and it'll beinteresting to see whether they are overwhelmed by one of the QBoptions. But unless St. Louis trades down -- which is always difficultgiven the economics of the draft -- Suh is a safe pick. As I've saidbefore, on film he's maybe the most dominating defensive tackle I'veseen. He can help immediately. Oddly, for a player so highly thoughtof, Suh may be even more versatile than some think.

2.png

[h6]Detroit Lions[/h6]
Record: 2-14

det.gif

Gerald McCoy*, DT, Oklahoma

McCoy or Suh will be a welcome sight for the Lions with thesecond pick, and McCoy is an extraordinarily good consolation prize forany team unable to get Suh. He's simply not that far behind the formerCornhusker in the eyes of personnel people. McCoy is highly disruptiveand an ideal player to use as an attacking defensive tackle in a 4-3scheme.

3.png

[h6]Tampa Bay Buccaneers[/h6]
Record: 3-13

tam.gif

Eric Berry*, S, Tennessee

People will continue to debate the merits of taking a safety sohigh, but Berry is an exception to any rule. He could be the next tojoin the class of true difference-makers at the safety position withthe likes of Troy Polamalu, Ed Reed (the most frequent comparison) andBob Sanders. Berry is outstanding in coverage and far more physicalthan his size would indicate.

4.png

[h6]Washington ********[/h6]
Record: 4-12

was.gif

Jimmy Clausen*, QB, Notre Dame

Clausen will gain momentum after the combine. Once he's fullyrecovered from his toe surgery, he'll show teams he can make thethrows, but there's more to it. His intelligence, competitiveness andtoughness will impress personnel people, and his stock will rise.Clausen has under-center experience and was as close to mistake-free ashe could be given his surroundings this past season.

5.png

[h6]Kansas City Chiefs[/h6]
Record: 4-12

kan.gif

Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers

Davis has the physical talent to be a Pro Bowl player early inhis career, but he's still developing. Still, given a choice, theChiefs can't pass on his upside, which is as high as any player's inthe draft. A potential Walter Jones-like presence, if his developmentcontinues. The Chiefs also could move Branden Albert to the right side.

6.png

[h6]Seattle Seahawks[/h6]
Record: 5-11

sea.gif

Sam Bradford*, QB, Oklahoma

The bottom line on Bradford: Thisquarterback has 10-point accuracy and could very well have gone aheadof Matthew Stafford as the No. 1 pick last year. He will have a chanceto prove to many scouts he's still the elite prospect many believe himto be. It's fair to doubt him, but his talent is unquestionable.

7.png

[h6]Cleveland Browns[/h6]
Record: 5-11

cle.gif

Joe Haden*, CB, Florida

Haden has the chance to be atop-five player at his position very quickly. He also fits an immediateneed for Cleveland and is easily the top cornerback on the board, aplayer it can plug in from day one. A deft cover corner and greattackler, Haden is the total package.

8.png

[h6]Oakland Raiders[/h6]
Record: 5-11

oak.gif

Jason Pierre-Paul*, DE, South Florida

Like Anthony Davis, Pierre-Paul hasas much upside as any player in the draft. He's still raw by NFLstandards but could contribute quickly just based on incredibleathleticism. Once his pass-rushing skills are refined, he's agame-changer.

9.png

[h6]Buffalo Bills[/h6]
Record: 6-10

buf.gif

Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State

The Bills should race to the podiumas the ******** did last year when Brian Orakpo landed in their laps.Significant need meets fantastic value here, with Okung being able tostep in right away and help a weak offensive line.

10.png

[h6]Denver Broncos (from Chicago)[/h6]
Record: 7-9

den.gif

Dez Bryant*, WR, Oklahoma State

Obviously, a lot depends on whetherBrandon Marshall is expected to be back come draft time, but if heisn't, this pick is a winner. You fill the void with the best deepthreat in the draft. Bryant has great size and was unstoppable in theBig 12; he's a weapon in the passing game.

11.png

[h6]Jacksonville Jaguars[/h6]
Record: 7-9

jac.gif

Derrick Morgan*, DE, Georgia Tech

In the first mock, I hadPierre-Paul in this spot, but his rising stock moves him up the board.Morgan certainly hasn't fallen as a prospect and should be snatched upquickly by the pass-rush-deficient Jags. He's as productive andversatile a player as there is in the draft.

12.png

[h6]Miami Dolphins[/h6]
Record:7-9

mia.gif

Rolando McClain*, LB, Alabama

A great get for Miami, a team thatneeds an inside linebacker and could get the best one in the draftafter the top 10. I mentioned before that the Dolphins also could goafter Bryant if he were to fall to them here, because they also mustaddress their need at wide receiver. Problem is after Bryant, there's avalue gap. If McClain and Bryant are gone here, a trade down the boardcould be considered.

13.png

[h6]San Francisco 49ers[/h6]
Record: 8-8

sfo.gif

C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson

In Spiller, the 49ers can add aplayer who complements Frank Gore in a way I don't think Glen Coffeecan. Spiller is a home run threat and should spell Gore and diversifythe offense. He also provides an upgrade in the return game.

14.png

[h6]Seattle Seahawks (from Denver)[/h6]
Record: 5-11

sea.gif

Everson Griffen*, DE, USC

Seattle could use help on itsO-line, but Griffen fills a significant need for pass-rush help here. The Seahawks will take a serious value hit if they select an offensivetackle here with Okung and Davis already off the board. Griffen alsohas a great size-speed combination, ideal on the edge of a 4-3.

15.png

[h6]New York Giants[/h6]
Record: 8-8

nyg.gif

Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas

Kindle is a need pick for theGiants, who must get stronger in their linebacking corps and could usea little more help with situational pass-rushing than some think.Kindle will need to overcome size issues -- another way of saying hesimply could add some bulk to a long (6-4) frame -- but he's proven farsturdier against the run than many who also can rush the passer.

16.png

[h6]San Francisco 49ers (from Carolina)[/h6]
Record: 8-8

sfo.gif

Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma

Considering how good Williams is,even at a position that normally doesn't draw high-to-mid first-roundpicks, getting him here would be of solid value. Williams could step inimmediately at right tackle, and the 49ers would upgrade up front.

17.png

[h6]Tennessee Titans[/h6]
Record: 8-8

ten.gif

Carlos Dunlap*, DE, Florida

At a certain point, even questionssurrounding a player's makeup can't overcome the talent, and getting aplayer like Dunlap at this stage is hard to question. With exceptionalsize and top-end athleticism for a defensive end, Dunlap should helpdisrupt opposing passers early in his career.

18.png

[h6]Pittsburgh Steelers[/h6]
Record: 9-7

pit.gif

Mike Iupati, G, Idaho

Iupati was one of the breakoutstars at the Senior Bowl. He fits what Pittsburgh likes as an athleticbut powerful guard who should help return the Steelers' running game tothe upper half of the league. Steve Hutchinson comparisons arelegitimate. (Hutchinson went No. 17 overall in the 2001 draft.)

19.png

[h6]Atlanta Falcons[/h6]
Record: 9-7

atl.gif

Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State

Wilson is another player who jumpedat the Senior Bowl. He's fluid, excellent in coverage and an immediatehelp on special teams. Wilson had a quiet season, but great cornerbacksoften do. He simply wasn't challenged enough. Stock is now back on therise.

20.png

[h6]Houston Texans[/h6]
Record: 9-7

hou.gif

Brian Price*, DT, UCLA

One of the guys who carries overwith the same team from the first mock. Price is hidden away a bit insuch a deep class of defensive linemen, but he's a disruptive force whouses great leverage. He should help a defense that's really close tobeing very good.

21.png

[h6]Cincinnati Bengals[/h6]
Record: 10-6

cin.gif

Demaryius Thomas, WR, Georgia Tech

Here's the big riser of the pastcouple of weeks. Thomas will be red-hot after the workouts get going. He's a big target (6-3, 225 pounds) and a downfield threat. He averagedmore than 25 yards per catch and remained productive in a run-basedoffense based. Carson Palmer needs weapons, and Thomas can be one.

22.png

[h6]New England Patriots[/h6]
Record: 10-6

nwe.gif

Brandon Graham, OLB, Michigan

If production were all thatmattered, Graham would be long gone by now. He led the FBS in tacklesfor loss and showed why at the Senior Bowl. Always in the backfield,he's an ideal outside linebacker for the Patriots' system, a terroragainst both the run and the pass.

23.png

[h6]Green Bay Packers[/h6]
Record: 11-5

gnb.gif

Bryan Bulaga*, OT, Iowa

The more you listen to Green Bay'speople, the more you get the sense that keeping Aaron Rodgers uprightis a major priority, and it should be, because seeing an MVP-leveltalent knocked out because of a lack of protection is a sad thought.Bulaga can help immediately, and he has room to grow.

24.png

[h6]Philadelphia Eagles[/h6]
Record: 11-5

phi.gif

Taylor Mays, S, USC

The Eagles are looking for thatheir to Brian Dawkins, a physical safety who can scare opposingreceivers and contribute to the rush defense. Mays has everything youcould ask for as a physical package. He had a bad season, and there arelegit concerns, but Mays still reeks of top-level NFL athleticism. Hejust needs to put it together.

25.png

[h6]Baltimore Ravens[/h6]
Record: 9-7

bal.gif

Arrelious Benn*, WR, Illinois

Every indication out of Baltimoreis that this organization is committed to finding pieces that can helpJoe Flacco. If Benn shows scouts he has the necessary speed, everythingelse is there. He is physical, can run after the catch and can evenhelp in the return game.

26.png

[h6]Arizona Cardinals[/h6]
Record: 10-6

ari.gif

Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee

I kept Williams here as a solidremedy to fill the Cardinals' second-biggest need. Just a tremendouslystrong player, starting with exceptional drive from his lower body,Williams is a disruptive force against the run and is a great help tolinebackers.

27.png

[h6]Dallas Cowboys[/h6]
Record: 11-5

dal.gif

Bruce Campbell*, OT, Maryland

Cowboys fans with bad memories ofgetting thrashed up front in the playoffs should be thrilled to get atalent like Campbell right here. Campbell should see his stock rise atthe combine, where his athleticism will be on display. If the Cowboysare serious about addressing their biggest need, this is the directionthey need to go.

28.png

[h6]San Diego Chargers[/h6]
Record: 13-3

sdg.gif

Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama

As I explained earlier this week,I expect to see Cody's stock rise because he may be the purest examplein this draft of a guy who, limitations aside, specifically fits ascheme. Cody is the prototype block-occupying clogger in a 3-4 scheme. You can question his weight or his versatility, but he can make otherplayers better. Remember, Jamal Williams' injury is a factor here.

29.png

[h6]New York Jets[/h6]
Record: 9-7

nyj.gif

Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers

The Jets could use some receivinghelp for Mark Sanchez here as well, but McCourty is a guy whose stockcould skyrocket if he runs the way many think he will. The Jets can getexposed when passers throw away from Darrelle Revis, and McCourty couldbe the answer on the other side.

30.png

[h6]Minnesota Vikings[/h6]
Record: 12-4

min.gif

Maurkice Pouncey, G/C, Florida

The Vikings could use help on theinterior of their offensive line, and Pouncey has a first-round gradeas a guard, which makes him an outstanding player. The Vikes did wellwhen they looked to Gainesville in the first round last year.

31.png

[h6]Indianapolis Colts[/h6]
Record: 14-2

ind.gif

Jared Odrick, DT, Penn State

One of the areas in which Indycould use help is along the interior of its defensive line, and Odrickcan help the linebackers run free and be disruptive in his own right.Like Williams at No. 26, a great talent buried a little bit in a deepclass of defensive linemen.

32.png

[h6]New Orleans Saints[/h6]
Record: 14-2

nor.gif

Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri

Weatherspoon fits like a glove forthe Saints as an outside linebacker in 4-3 system. He has ideal sizefor the position and is a tackling machine. Weatherspoon has the speedand experience to play inside or out, so adding versatility is also agood value proposition.

Much has been made of the strength of the 2010 defensive tackleclass, and the fact that the first two picks in Scouts Inc.'s latestfirst-round projection are defensive tackles is no surprise.

However, the offensive tackles are coming on strong, and we now project fouroffensive tackles to come off the board in the first eight picks. Add apair of defensive ends to the players mentioned above, and you haveeight linemen among the first 10 picks.

That leaves littleroom at the top for skill players and defensive backs, and some of thebiggest names on our board have slipped significantly in our latestprojection.

Here's how we see things shaking out now thatthe college all-star games are over and prospects are preparing for theupcoming NFL combine.

1.png

[h6]St. Louis Rams[/h6]
Record: 1-15

stl.gif

Gerald McCoy*, DT, Oklahoma

The Rams have a poor track recordwhen it comes to drafting defensive linemen early, and now they have atough choice to make between the stronger, more instinctive NdamukongSuh and the quicker, more disruptive McCoy. Coach Steve Spagnuolo islooking for defensive linemen who can penetrate, which is why we thinkMcCoy could be the top overall pick.

2.png

[h6]Detroit Lions[/h6]
Record: 2-14

det.gif

Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska

The Lions will gladly take Suhhere. He won't provide the pass-rush production of McCoy, but he is aforce versus the run and he consistently disrupts passing windowsthanks to his excellent instincts and long arms.

3.png

[h6]Tampa Bay Buccaneers[/h6]
Record: 3-13

tam.gif

Jason Pierre-Paul*, DE, South Florida

The Bucs will consider Tennessee SEric Berry here, but they are in dire need of a speed rusher andPierre-Paul is the most explosive one this draft class has to offer.

4.png

[h6]Washington ********[/h6]
Record: 4-12

was.gif

Anthony Davis*, OT, Rutgers

Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford has enoughphysical and mental tools to develop into a good NFL startereventually. However, he also enters the league with enough questionmarks (shoulder injury, spread offensive system, etc.) for a team likethe ******** to pass and fill one of several other holes. Solidifyingits offensive line should be Washington's top priority, and Davis isthe most naturally gifted tackle in this year's deep group. Two otheroptions at tackle are Russell Okung (Oklahoma State) and Bryan Bulaga(Iowa).

5.png

[h6]Kansas City Chiefs[/h6]
Record: 4-12

kan.gif

Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State

Berry could make a huge impact inthe Chiefs' secondary as well, but Kansas City has too much work stillto do at core positions to spend No. 5 money on a safety. The offensiveline needs to be solidified, and that could happen by bringing inOkung, who has a quick first step, good power and a mean streak.

6.png

[h6]Seattle Seahawks[/h6]
Record: 5-11

sea.gif

Bryan Bulaga*, OT, Iowa

Look for Seattle to pass on aquarterback in the top 10 for the second straight year. Finding areplacement for Walter Jones at left tackle is the more immediate need, and the team will get a safer prospect there than at quarterback.Bulaga still has room to improve in pass protection, but he displaysthe feet and balance to develop into a very good overall starting lefttackle in the NFL.

7.png

[h6]Cleveland Browns[/h6]
Record: 5-11

cle.gif

Eric Berry*, S, Tennessee

Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant willbe tough to pass up here, but the Browns did spend a pair ofsecond-round picks on WRs Brian Robiskie and Mohamed Massaquoi lastyear. Berry has the talent and experience to make the kind of impactfor the Browns that perennial Pro Bowler Ed Reed made for the Ravens early in his career.

8.png

[h6]Oakland Raiders[/h6]
Record: 5-11

oak.gif

Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma

Considering the team has used high draft picks on a quarterback (JaMarcus Russell), running back (Darren McFadden) and wide receiver (Darrius Heyward-Bey)in recent years, it would make sense to shift the focus to theoffensive line this April. Both of the Raiders' starting offensivetackles (Mario Henderson and Cornell Green)are below average, and Williams has the physical tools and toughness toprovide an upgrade at one of those two spots immediately.

9.png

[h6]Buffalo Bills[/h6]
Record: 6-11

buf.gif

Sam Bradford*, QB, Oklahoma

Offensive tackle and quarterbackare chief among the Bills' needs, and they should draft a tackle ifDavis, Okung or Bulaga is available. This scenario has them selectingthe top quarterback prospect in the 2010 class, though. Bradford is abit of a project because of his slight frame and the spread system heplayed in at Oklahoma, but he has the football intelligence andaccuracy to be molded into a good starter in the NFL.

10.png

[h6]Jacksonville Jaguars**[/h6]
Record: 7-9

jac.gif

Derrick Morgan*, DE, Georgia Tech

Morgan will not wow scouts with hisresults at the combine, but he is a high-motor, technically soundplayer who can pressure the quarterback and set the edge against therun. He has the physical tools to develop into a good every-downstarter at the next level.

11.png

[h6]Denver Broncos** (from 7-9 Chicago)[/h6]
Record: 6-7

den.gif

Dez Bryant*, WR, Oklahoma State

Denver still has needs along itsoffensive and defensive fronts as well as in the secondary, but it willbe tough to pass on the clear-cut No. 1 wideout in this year's classshould Bryant fall to the Broncos.

12.png

[h6]Miami Dolphins[/h6]
Record: 7-9

mia.gif

Rolando McClain*, ILB, Alabama

Bryant falling to No. 12 would be adream scenario for the Dolphins, but if he is off the board, look forMiami to target a top talent in the defensive front seven. McClain isNFL-ready with the size, straight-line speed and work ethic to win astarting inside linebacker job immediately.

13.png

[h6]San Francisco 49ers[/h6]
Record: 8-8

sfo.gif

Joe Haden*, CB, Florida

The 49ers could go in severaldirections with this pick, including quarterback, offensive line or apass-rusher, but they wouldn't go wrong taking a top-10 skill playerlike Haden at this spot.

14.png

[h6]Seattle Seahawks (from 8-8 Denver)[/h6]
Record: 5-11

sea.gif

C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson

Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen mightbe a possibility here, but we do not believe he's worthy of afirst-round selection. After finding a left tackle at No. 6, it wouldmake sense for the Seahawks to use this pick on a difference-maker likeSpiller. Running backs generally are not worth drafting this high, butSpiller has additional value due to his home run ability as a receiverand return man.

15.png

[h6]New York Giants[/h6]
Record: 8-8

nyg.gif

Brian Price*, DT, UCLA

The Giants need to retool themiddle of their defense, and Price would be a good player to startwith. He possesses the quickness and power to develop into a disruptiveplaymaker who can get into opposing backfields.

16.png

[h6]San Francisco** (from 8-8 Carolina)[/h6]
Record: 8-8

sfo.gif

Mike Iupati, OT/G, Idaho

Iupati is a fast-rising guard/righttackle prospect who is strong and nasty and would fit in nicely withcoach Mike Singletary's hard-nosed brand of football.

17.png

[h6]Tennessee Titans**[/h6]
Record: 8-8

ten.gif

Carlos Dunlap*, DE, Florida

Dunlap is a bit immature and thereare questions about his work ethic, but he also possesses a rarecombination of size and athleticism for a defensive end. The Titanshave enough veteran leadership on that side of the ball to pull thetrigger here on a developmental project like Dunlap.

18.png

[h6]Pittsburgh Steelers[/h6]
Record: 9-7

pit.gif

Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee

The Steelers would like to use thispick on a top offensive line prospect like Iupati or Trent Williams, but with both off the board, they will avoid reaching for anotheroffensive lineman. They also will avoid stretching for a tackle likeMaryland's Bruce Campbell to go for value with Dan Williams, who hasthe size and strength to develop into the eventual replacement for NTCasey Hampton, who is set to become a free agent.

19.png

[h6]Atlanta Falcons**[/h6]
Record: 9-7

atl.gif

Kareem Jackson*, CB, Alabama

The Falcons need to improve theirsecondary talent after getting shredded through the air this pastseason. Jackson is one of the most underrated prospects in the 2010class, and has the size, agility and balance to hold up in bump-and-runcoverage on the perimeter. Plus, Jackson's instincts and technique areoutstanding, so he should be ready to play as a rookie despite leavingschool a year early.

20.png

[h6]Houston Texans**[/h6]
Record: 9-7

hou.gif

Earl Thomas*, S, Texas

Thomas is undersized but physicalenough to play safety in the NFL if used properly. Regardless, he's oneof the three most talented defensive backs in the 2010 class, and theTexans could use an upgrade at both free safety and cornerback, soThomas is a fit no matter where he ends up playing.

21.png

[h6]Cincinnati Bengals[/h6]
Record:10-6

cin.gif

Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma

The Bengals are likely to use anearly-round selection on a tight end, and while Gresham is a risk dueto knee injuries (torn left ACL in high school, season-ending cartilagedamage to right knee in 2009), his combination of size and athleticismis rare and he can stretch the seam effectively.

22.png

[h6]New England Patriots[/h6]
Record: 10-6

nwe.gif

Brandon Graham, OLB, Michigan

Graham is a bit undersized to playa traditional defensive end role, and he does not have the idealathleticism you want in an outside linebacker. If used properly, though, Graham can excel in the NFL, and he appears to be in BillBelichick's wheelhouse with his nonstop motor, excellent technique andgood overall football intelligence.

23.png

[h6]Green Bay Packers[/h6]
Record: 11-5

gnb.gif

Bruce Campbell*, OT, Maryland

Campbell will turn some heads withhis performance at the combine. However, while he might have the bestcombination of physical tools in this year's offensive tackle class, weexpect Campbell to slip to the bottom half of the first round due toinjury concerns and below-average technique.

24.png

[h6]Philadelphia Eagles[/h6]
Record: 11-5

phi.gif

Taylor Mays, S, USC

The Eagles need a replacement forthe physical presence former defensive leader Brian Dawkins took withhim when he left for Denver. Mays is a bit of a liability in deepcoverage and he needs to learn to wrap up more consistently as atackler, but it is hard to imagine a player with his combination ofsize, straight-line speed and explosive hitting falling out of thefirst round.

25.png

[h6]Baltimore Ravens[/h6]
Record: 9-7

bal.gif

Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State

Wilson is a fast-rising prospectafter showcasing his upper-echelon bump-and-run coverage skills at theSenior Bowl. A cornerback-needy team like the Ravens could easily pullthe trigger on Wilson late in the first round.

26.png

[h6]Arizona Cardinals[/h6]
Record: 10-6

ari.gif

Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB, Texas

Kindle is a bit overrated, but wedo think he is worth a pick at this point in the first round. TheCardinals could put him to work as a situational edge rusher early inhis career while he works on getting bigger and stronger in order tohold up better versus the run.

27.png

[h6]Dallas Cowboys[/h6]
Record: 11-5

dal.gif

Nate Allen, S, South Florida

Allen is far from a first-roundlock, but the Cowboys need to improve their athleticism at safety, andAllen has the right combination of speed and fluidity in coverage tohelp fix the problem.

28.png

[h6]San Diego Chargers[/h6]
Record: 13-3

sdg.gif

Jahvid Best*, RB, California

Best's draft stock could take a bighit depending on how the medical reports (back/neck, concussion) fromthe combine look. Assuming he checks out, Best likely will be high onthe Chargers' board, along with Dan Williams, fellow RBs Ryan Mathews(Fresno State) and Jonathan Dwyer (Georgia Tech), and DT/DE JaredOdrick (Penn State). A healthy Best gets the nod thanks to hisgame-breaking speed.

29.png

[h6]New York Jets[/h6]
Record: 9-7

nyj.gif

Arrelious Benn*, WR, Illinois

The Jets need perimeter weapons forQB Mark Sanchez to throw to, and Benn is a better prospect than his2009 production might indicate. He played through a nagging ankleinjury and his quarterback was inconsistent, but Benn shows goodinitial burst and the ability to generate yards after the catch. Still,he needs to be more consistent catching the ball away from his body andmust become a more savvy route runner.

30.png

[h6]Minnesota Vikings[/h6]
Record: 12-4

min.gif

Jared Odrick, DT, Penn State

The Vikings have proved they willtake the best player available on the board, and in this scenario,Odrick fits the bill and would be groomed as an eventual replacementfor aging DT Pat Williams. Other possibilities include Clausen, ILBBrandon Spikes (Florida), TE Anthony McCoy (USC) and C/G MaurkicePouncey (Florida).

31.png

[h6]Indianapolis Colts[/h6]
Record: 14-2

ind.gif

Maurkice Pouncey*, OL, Florida

Odrick would make sense if he wasstill on the board, or the Colts could reach for an athletic offensivetackle like USC's Charles Brown. But Pouncey is a gifted interiorlineman with the quick feet, versatility and football intelligence tohelp the Colts solidify their interior offensive line.

32.png

[h6]New Orleans Saints[/h6]
Record: 13-3

nor.gif

Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri

Weatherspoon is expected to turnsome heads at the combine with his speed, and we're hearing that someteams grade him out as a mid-first-round pick. We're not quite as highon Weatherspoon because we question his ability to play in space, butthe Super Bowl champs are expected to focus on upgrading the speed andathleticism of their defense, and Weatherspoon fits the mold.

Im confused as to how people are talking about Suh being one of the best DT's coming out of college of all time, yet McShay has him going 2nd behind another DT.

McShay still has suh as the #1 D lineman but McCoy might be a better fit for the rams

id hate to take spiller. wasting a 1st round pick on a rb whos gonna spell for frank gore and return kicks. we need to draft olinemen unless eric berry or dez bryant SOMEHOW fall to us. i know it aint gonna happen but it'd be nice though.

i'm just sick of watching mike robinson and arnaz battle return kicks and punts, battle with 2.9 yards per punt return last year get that bum outta there

Trindon Holliday will be no where close to a good return man in the NFL. He has terrible vision and can knocked over by a push. There are way better return options in the later rounds.

CJ Spiller would instantaneously be the most explosive/dangerous player on the 49ers and the only legit threat to take it to the crib every time he touched the ball. And he's a receiving threat. Would make a great combo w/ a guy like Gore. They would be dangerous. Used like Percy this year for the Vikes, except a little more running and a little less passing. But could provide the same type of impact.

Record: 5-11

Joe Haden*, CB, Florida

Haden has the chance to be atop-five player at his position very quickly. He also fits an immediateneed for Cleveland and is easily the top cornerback on the board, aplayer it can plug in from day one. A deft cover corner and greattackler, Haden is the total package.

How high Kiper is on Joe BAFFLES me.

Good thing he basically has 0 chance of going top 7 after the combine.

And with that said, these mocks aren't even new.  These were made before the combine, so...

 Believe that if you want.

Bet $ Joe drops a 4.4 @ his pro day. He's gonna be a Brown

true

Even if he drops a 4.4 in Gainsville, this statement is ludicrous:
Haden has the chance to be atop-five player at his position very quickly.
Really Mel?

All I know is this dude BETTER eventually become a perennial Pro Bowler if we take him, because I've been bashing him for quite some time now.

And it wasn't just the 40...Joe was pretty lackluster in every drill considering the hype.

Who knew that Revis was going to be the ARGUABLY the best CB in the league in his 3rd year in the league? I knew he was gonna be good, but damn.

And the only hiccups I remember for Joe, was the 40, and the 1st drill right after the 40. I forget what it was, but I believe he stumbled out of his backpedal (I could be wrong about what his exact mistake was, but he messed up somehow). He corrected it on the second go round and beasted the rest of the day.
