I didn’t feel this race on some way… drs killed the wheel to wheel racing on this classic track with the guy in front unable to defend
It's almost like if someone is behind you, you're dead in the water sometimes. Anyway... Italian Grand PrixFIA announces Monza double-DRS Two detection and activation zones for the first time
I don't see electricity ever taking over F1. Sure, there can be a Formula E, but there will also be a "regular" F1 as well. What they are planning right now is to have a hybrid engine for the 2014 (I think) season, where cars in the pitlane will only be allowed to run with an electric motor. On-track drive will be from the normal gas-engine. The problem, they're expecting, with the pitlane-electric-motor is that people in the pitlane might not hear the cars coming and get run-over (as ridiculous as that may sound!). I'm sure they'll figure out some siren/warning system though.
I'm all for progress, but the FIA has way to much power over the sport. Keep the formulas seperate, stop shoving smaller and/ or electric engines down our throat. Edit- Did you like the summer break this year? Next years will be 5 weeks long.
LOL @ Nick... he's still adamant that he's doing a good-enough job to keep his Renault drive. But I'm glad that Senna will get his shot again. He should go do some DTM or LeMans racing, where I'm sure he'll do well.
Red bull takes it again. Vettels tenth (!!!) pole of the season. Red Bull has taken pole for EVERY Grand Prix this season. That's about as disappointed a 2nd and 3rd Q as you're gonna see... considering that they were relatively confident yesterday...
And that was a helluva poor restart by Lew... Getting stuck behind MSC drove me nuts. He wasn't being completely "illegal" with his blocking, which was the tough part... you can't give him a penalty for that! Cunning bastard... ! haha... you don't win 7 WDC's without knowing how to push that grey-area. Credit to him I suppose. Damn, Seb was ridiculous today. That pass on ALO on the outside/grass off of T3 (I think it was)...
This RB7 is just too good. He's might clinch the title in Singapore. This is insane. What a crash from Liuzzi. And how the hell did ALO suddenly crawl into 2nd!? WTH. Yeah, that was scary... if you were Rosberg... getting sideswiped outta nowhere!
Seb can't still be this happy every time he wins a race That overtaking maneuver was just sick. Schumi still has it.
Yeah, that kid is special. I still remember his maiden win at Monza a few years back when he was at Toro Rosso. And he's still young! i just don't like the fact that he's pretty much untouchable this season. 100+ point lead over the next guy.
