does 3.5 do that?
What do you mean? The address bar seems like it's the same as 3.0 though.

Quick and smooth for the most part, and I'm streaming BBC Radio too. I'd recommend it...

I had 'memory leak' issues with 3.0... started off at around 80K and after 30 or so minutes it went up to 200K... when I tried to close it, it climbedup to 500k before shutting down... I hope they fixed this issue... maybe its just me.

My mem usage is always WAY too high with Fire Fox

I like to multi-task...

^ But when you close, lets say, 8 windows/tabs, does the mem usage of FF drop back down? mine doesn't... it stays at that level... its got my CPU fanhuffin' & puffin' like Vader...

i'm not noticing much of a speed difference, it was already pretty quick though.
one thing i am seeing not sure if it's always been like this and i just never noticed but every time i go to men.style.com and then leave a pop up comes. i added it to ABP and it didn't change anything. is this a 3.5 problem or what?

I'm on 3.5 now.

Only issue I had with the previous version of Firefox was "Mozilla Crash Reporter." The error you would randomly get when hitting the'download' button on zshare links.

I tried the 3.5 update... now my FF memory usage starts off at 300K and climbs steadily with every page I visit... splendid

I give up.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see if this 3.5 helps that - I've had the same problem. Doesn't matter so much on my new PC becauseit's superfast - but it still clogged things up a bit.

It's sitting at 150k just now with a bunch of tabs open.

Aright so now every time I try to start FF it crashes - and doesn't start at all.

I had to come in here in safe mode to make it work.

Great.

Firefox 3 and beyond sucks balls. I installed the latest 2.0 version just now.

Well 3.5 didn't work for me... I opened it up with 1 blank tab ~ mem sits at 70-80k. Then I proceed to open up a page (I chose NT)... all ofa sudden, the mem shoots up to 250k and hovers at that level for a while... I then open up another blank tab, close my NT tab... mem remains at 250ishK... atwhich I muttered to myself "&#%$ it" and uninstalled it. And its not like I was running a lot of add-ons or plugins either... I guess theresjust something with my system. Oh well... back to IE7 & Chrome... I didn't like IE8 either...

No problems for me. With one tab open (NT), its at about 95k. I opened 6 tabs, back-to-back 5x and it steadily went to 142k-145k and that's where itssitting right now. Btw, I'm on Windows 7 RC.

Thanks boost. Its faster and on top of that we just got more memory so its a major improvement.

when i'm browsing, the contrast on certain pictures show up darker than others for me

is it just me?
