Fun fact: it was only 4 pair of foams that dropped at the end of 2009 the Eggplants, Cough Drops, Coppers & HOH pearls. reasons why I didn’t mention 09 because it wasn’t until 2010 they were popularlized by NYC and the DMV (Eastcoast)

Here we go! Yes you are correct. we all know that. but It was popularized on social media & in songs during that Era. No one was rapping about Foams in 97. I’m giving the DMV y’all flowers when it was popping not saying when the trend started. Please stick to the question/subject let’s not get sidetracked or anything fellas.

I copped both the eggplants and coppers in 2010 though lol.

97-02 I love the commercials but I couldn't find a pair of foams anywhere in NYC.

I'll admit the first pair of foams I got was the 2011 Royal pair which gets a bad rep in here. Having a ton of other color ways after that I wish I had the earlier releases, the colors were all fire.
I'm out west and I aint ever see people wearing foams.
