FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Kinda far from me but might have to check it out this weekend
You know any good ones in Boston? I can’t lie I’ve pretty much only had DD donuts
Mike's Pastry shop/Omni Parker House Hotel(originators of Boston Cream Pie) & Kane's. Kane's are probably some of the most expensive donuts you'll ever buy but are definitely worth it imo.

Thought they're from Kane's but I see the wrapper says a different name. I'll keep it in mind when I'm back in Boston next month. Donut Stand right?

Yep, The Donut Stand. it's in Southboro, MA...so a bit of a ride from Boston. VERY MUCH worth the trek if you like those gourmet donuts. super fresh, soft inside, and high quality toppings/flavors

Stuck to the traditional stuff tonight:

Maaaaad therapeutic

When it's dished up at the end too :smh::pimp:

Smoked turkey breast..Was going to brine it but got it frozen yesterday and couldn’t DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican still pretty good
Finally getting the hang of getting that perfect golden color rather than that dark mahogany I was getting before

I'm a firm believer that stuffing should be a year-round dish because it's absolutely my favorite part of Thanksgiving

Seeing some yummy plates being posted. Last night's dinner: I bought the Dominoe's. Sis in law & her mother & sister made some great food. On the menu we have paneer puff pastries, broccoli casserole, pasta, potatoe salad & some other dishes like fried cauliflower.

Puff pastries were store bought & turned out to be a hit. Dessert was Walmart brand sweet potatoe & pecan pie.
