Anniversary dinner. Took my wife to the best steak restaurant in town.
Started with crab cakes:
The steak:
Dude was probably the best waiter I ever had. He was knowledgeable, funny, and checked up on us regularly. Then the kicker, when we were ready to get our check, he pulls this out and says happy anniversary, guys.
Needless to say, I tipped VERY well and will be writing a good review for them, especially our waiter.

Finally worked up the courage to cook a dry-aged ribeye:
Seasoned it with salt, pepper, and granulated garlic.
Pan-seared it with a rosemary/thyme/garlic butter baste.
Served it with sauteed spinach.
