Denmark. Aarhus by the harbor.

It's one of those new harbor neighborhoods, where they just threw in a bunch of apartment buildings and forgot to make room for stores. So lots of people live there, but it's kind of lifeless. They got a small pier though with a few spots and a little activity, where I like to go for a swim and coffee, because it's only really crowded on weekends and if the weather is great.

Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Browned the butter

Mixture of browned butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla

Mixture of both flours, salt, baking powder and baking soda

Came out really good. Texture is just how I like them. Next time, I'll use a little less chocolate as it was a bit too sweet, and I'll add pecans

Even though it isn't West Indian food, I am so happy to see a young brotha outchea doing the damn thing...

My favorite city to eat in. I highly recommend Liholio YachtClub. My other two favorites are Hog Island Oyster Company ( the clam chowder is life changing) and Swan Oyster Depot ( crab Louie and the uni).

Smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes

After I fried the pork chops, I added the onions to sautée, then the flour to form a roux

Addes the pork chops and cooked in the onion gravy for 1.5 hours

Yukon gold and Russet potatoes. Added a heavy cream and butter mixture

The results after 1.5 hours
