Question:

How do you get more than one raffle ticket at the same store? Don't they ask for ID? And even when you do somehow get more than one at the same store, will they cancel them if they see your ID on their list more than once?

 

You can't; one per person. You would have to invite people to help input multiple raffles for you.

 

That's what I figured... still, I saw a video of a dude gettin more than one at a store at different times of the day and wonder how he did it..

 

So essentially, this is an online raffle?

 

In a way, yes. If you don't get to secure in store the "head starts" will give you an advantage on the online release.

 

So it's an online raffle? What's the point of being vip to enter a raffle 3 min earlier unless it's fcfs type of thing

 

Well this a complete waste of time, i never got a text to verfiy my phone. And spent more time tweeting ftl. Than i need getting shoes. This is worse than an in store raffle imo

 

Come on man. It's not rocket science. It's obvious. He just went to the store when they had different people working. If he would have won twice they would have removed his name and probably make sure he never wins again.

 

I calmed down and thought about the ppl in the, snkrs app thread who had the same problem.. It was quick codes i called TMO and removed the block and now im good to go...

 

I've never participated in one of these raffles.

My logic is - if you go register once, don't they take your ID then? So if you go a second time, won't they see instantly if you've already registered? Do they even use computers to track and show this?

 

Even if they have a sheet, it's dozens if not a few hundred names.

 

So if its a handwritten list then that's explains how someone could cheese in some extra entries, but yea if these multiple entries were noticed, then whoever does it would probably have their entries cancelled..

 

I'm pretty sure that if someone were to enter on Monday then again on Tuesday and have their name pulled twice, the first call would be forfeited.

 

Does footlocker's policy actually even forbid multiple entries?

 

Yes, actually it does otherwise everybody would be putting in a dozen entries.

 

I figured so.. still, I wonder if indeed one were to "win" more than once, would BOTH entries at a particular store get forfeited? Hopefully only one, like you said..

Also, how about using the footlocker app to get a raffle as well as getting a ticket at the store? Same situation as 2 in-store raffles?

 

There won't be any more in store raffles. It will all be handled via the app.

 

well that sucks for all customers who don't have a smartphone... App only, not even the FL website?

 

According to the information released so far, app only. Only real way to know which stores are 50 miles away and to verify accounts using phone number.

 

Footlocker and Champs managers can no longer back door. The question is will the app monitor inventory? For example Villas POS systems sync their sales every morning. So backdooring is at a minimal. I applaud Villa for that! Their raffles are pretty much legit
