What do you guys think the future of America holds? People seem to be getting less intelligent even though more and more people are attending college People are getting fat which leads them to be unhealthy not only physically but also mentally We are producing enough scientist and engineers because people fear a challenge and just wanna cop out and study something easy like journalism or art history Our economy is not booming like it used to be which leads to less educated people coming here for work instead places like singapore are thriving So will we recover or are we going to continue to decline
March 1st They don't emm care. America is finished, we were quick to help everybody else out and now we don't have a pot to piss in. It's only a matter of time before Pearl Harbor 2. We use to be the land of the great where everyone wanted to be without question, now other places are more desirable.
What if people stop caring about money? A empire dies when people no longer believes in them. I feel like every society and every generation goes thru the same problems as we do, as time passes technology grows...people are afraid of the future and its only normal to fear. All we can do is enlight ourselves to make our family better. Make a family pass on a legacy.
i was on this tax return website and a few ppl were freakiing out saying no one would receive their taxes after the 1st. tried to google but dont know what im looking for.
if you're not familiar with the sequestration cuts that would go into effect 03/01/13, you probably have more to review from the past 12-18 months before you're fully up to speed. start by googling "fiscal cliff"
"The Empire" is in decline. It happens. After WWI is when we start to take power of the world and the 1900s, WWII is when it becomes official. Our leaders haven't properly adapted to the world of the 2000s and so we are on the way out unless we do some serious changes to bring it back (and knowing our system, we will not). The 2000s belong to the developing nations, Brazil, India, and China in specific. (Purposely left out Russia from the BRIC countries, they aren't really doing much.) I'll be okay with losing world influence, even happier if we don't. It's all good. Get on the globalization wagon and enjoy the ride my NT brethren.
$85 billion in cuts on March 1st. Will we get some new legislature, or will we get the cuts? What do you guys think? S/n: $85 billion is the amound pumped into the economy monthly by the FED
I would assume we would have new legislature that will impose new cuts. @azwildcats what kind of adaption are u talkin bout?
It's hard out there. I graduate from college in August from tOSU and I'm worried about the job market Damn man.
They gotta do something or March 1st will def cripple the US and this time around the DMV will be hit
Something will get done, got to love the fear mongering. Mention "developing" nations and go on go mention Brazil, China, and India...
Stole this from the medical insurance thread. The only reason education is diminishing is because the country isn't sponsoring it enough. It prefers to fund the military industrial complex, than worry about domestic issues.
Its not done. It's just gonna continue to go the extreme income inequality route. Top 1 percent own the govt and I don't see mass revolution hapoening
