They need to do a live action Batman beyond with Lakeith being The joker

Either the gang version or “return of the joker”

A live action Batman Beyond movie in general would be da GOAT :wow::smokin

they need to stop chasing marvel and focus on their younger properties like Static, Terry batman, Nightwing, etc.

I basically wanna see movies made out of the second 90’s BTAS (new adventures) all the way into Batman beyond

What's that situation with Milestone for static?
They own it like all other Milestone characters. They have a distributing deal with DC thats been exclusive with them for quite some time. At times they lease out their Milestone characters to DC which is how we get things like the two universes merging and Static on YJ.

Without their say DC cant make a Static movie.

Ever since Milestone 2.0 has been announced (which has been stalling for like 4 or 5 years now) there have been no use of the Milestone characters outside of Static in a small minimized role.

If DC wanted a Static movie they'd have to get permission and the movie most likely wouldnt be connected tonthese other DC movies.

So why don’t Milestone just link w Lionsgate or whoever and start their own Universe? tired of seeing the same ****** in movies.

We be wanting them to make Michael b Jordan And Idris Elba Superman and Batman instead of forcing them to make Icon and Hardware movies

Same reason they never broke away from DC completely and became their own publisher. Good enough deal and they go in and out of being active.

Plus way back when (2000s) nobody knew how big this comic book movie thing would be so its not like any studio was offering great deals to comic publishers to make these movies.

Right now though, I have no ****ing clue what they're doing and why they habent stepped up. Theres like 5 founders of Milestone and its always slow moving for certain moves to be made. They tried to set up Milestone 2.0 and thats been dragging like I already mentioned.

Its like they dont want to be great. You're exactly right though.

Damn. It's lowkey like that DC **** was keeping them comfortable this whole time to really only gain them a Static cartoon and a cameo every now and then when they could have surpassed DC if they put the groundwork in from the 90's to tell urban multicultural stories with a diverse ethnic range. They were making characters gay, talking about AIDS and drugs in the 90's and now moving forward that overly PC include everyone **** is the default position companies like DC and Marvel are gonna be on when they were on that 30 years ago. :smh:

They need new young minds to make moves in a 2020's mindset. Static alone is a recognizable enough character with enough back history to get a new era running.

Would they not be able to use Ebon and Gear though? **** that came from the show?

Yeah, pretty much.

Like many groups what happened is they broke up. Inner personal issues, a death, a dip in sales they couldn't recover from, etc.

That was the extra live or die risk with doing the distrubition deal with DC. Kept them steady making comics in the 90s but once they folded up shop other stuff started being suggested like merging with the DC universe.

Where as other publishers like Image, Dark Horse, Valiant, etc. sort of just pushed through their hard times and kept going. Shame given what they provided was really needed for comics and the culture.
