Get On Up James Brown Biopic 8/1/2014 Starring Chadwick Boseman, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Jill

I've watched this trailer at least ten times now, and I just can't shake the feeling this movie is going to be awful. I just really don't think it's going to do JB justice.

Chadwick did a good job in 42, but he was a bit "stiff" for lack of a better word. I dunno if he can make James as believable like Jamie did Ray.

It won't. They stole this from Spike Lee.

42 was nothing more than a TV movie in my eyes.

Movie was amazing! It surpassed the GOAT music biopic, The Temptations imo.

I feel bad for not seeing in theaters. Really, really dig this movie.

From Jackie Robinson, to James Brown, Chadwick is on his grind and puts in work to make you feel his portrayals. Now he has a ways to go to do what Jamie did in Ray but I'm a fan of dudes work; can't wait to see him as Black Panther
