Why do dudes even make these threads anymore? They never listen to the advice and have to learn the lesson the hard way. Honestly, I think that's the best way of learning the lesson - that way actually emotion is associate with the lesson thus solidifying it. Sure abstract rules and discussions are useful however in situations like this where dude is already halfway to learning the lesson, he may as well learn it himself.

Basically experience is better than theory when learning this type of ****. Make your mistakes now so you can be happy later on.
