I would wait until your armor is level 5-6 before fighting them. They will still wash you, but you stand a much better chance
 
Man the developers have me all in my feelings that we have to wait several years before seeing how the story continues. This is the most butthurt I have been about a cliffhanger in a very long time.

Beat the game and washed all of The Valkyries. Had to max out my armor for the final one though and my weapons were also at peak capability. Patience and learning each ones attack patterns are key. Go in wild and you will get decimated.

I need like 10 ravens and a few miscellaneous chests to have completed it all. Looking forward to that New Game+ though. Once I beat the game I was almost sad cause it’s gonna be a while before the sequel drops.

I think I did 2 but it wasn’t really worth it anymore. Kinda felt the same way about the musphelheim trials etc. anyway for the balkyries just be at a good level and learn their patterns. Your also gonna need a full rage meter and have a set plan. Ex I’m gonna use these 2 runes, have Atreus use this summon. If health gets low use the rage meter, then rinse and repeat

Haven't played it yet.

Wasn't planning on copping til Black Friday but my brother copped it and beat it.

  • God Of War 1.31 added various performance and stability improvements.
 
Played GoW again after a while, decided to start new game+. The draugrs at the beginning kept washing me :lol: Gotta get used to the controls again.
