Depends on your insurance. My BMs covered 80%, but having a kid is expensive, especially if there are complications. Our PICU visit shortly after birth cost 300k... 20% of that is still a good chunk of money.

These hospitals are profit driven like a business :smh:
 
Even the cheapest, bottom barrel daycares will hit you like $4 or 500 a month....Alotta ppl can’t afford that expense
I remember when an ex’s brother had a baby with his girl that they decided the daycare they wanted would be roughly the same as her take home pay so it made sense for her to just resign and stay at home and be with the baby :wow: .

I’d be curious what any of the NTers who have babies would say about how COVID has affected their daycare situation with the spike in virtual work
