Going to Gilbert - need advice from the AZ people

I'm leaving for Gilbert in a week and I wanted to know if there are any good things to do around there. I heard Gilbert is boring and wouldn't mind having things to go see and do. I'm looking for sneaker and clothing stores, restaurants, clunbs, lounges,basically anything fun. I'm also 22 years old. Thanks in advance.

Is it that boring around Gilbert that no one has a couple o fthings to do? Please help.

Gilbert is about a 10-20 minute drive to Tempe (depending on where you are). Hit up Mill Avenue in Tempe for bars/restaurants/clubs etc.
