Going to Seattle for the weekend vol. It's our anniversary...

Wassup NT fam,

It's my 1 year wedding anniversary on Sunday so the wifey and I decided to take a weekend trip to Seattle since we've never been there.

We can't do something more extravagant due limited funds with her going to nursing school and only working part time.

We're getting there on Friday @ 8AM and leaving on Monday at 6AM.

What are some things to do? I have the anniversary stuff planned out, but what about during the day?

Also, do we need a rent a car?

Any suggestions will be appreciated... thanks!

Where are you staying specifically?

I would say definitely check out the Pike Place Market, the space needle, a mariners game, the waterfront, Alki beach (west seattle)

What are you looking for as far as food and nightlife?

And as far as renting a car, it really depends where you are staying, although it probably wouldn't hurt either way. Our public transportation is okay, but not great.

Great place. Especially for college students on holiday weekends. The lake is a lot of fun. It's a good spot.
