well i'm going back to Detroit this weekend too...the only thing i could tell to do is go outside of the city if you want to havefun. There's two sneaker boutiques in Royal Oak (Burn Rubber) and Birmingham (Revive). Its also alot of nice lil shops in both cities too.There's areally nice mall out in Troy called Somerset... If you want to go clubbing there's downtown Detroit but i'm not into the whole clubbingthing...

Check out downtown at your own risk if your into the club secne.
Its a few casinos around that area too if your old enough to gamble.
Northland Mall if your big on Cole Haan and Gator shoes.
Southern Fires is a must if you like soul food.
Strip Clubs on 8 Mile
In Oakland County Revive and Burn Rubber but thats about it
Oh cant forget about the museum district African American History, Science, and others.
Little Caesars Pizza get a PCB

There's a lot of other good spots in Detroit people don't mention. People give us a bad reputation for nothing really.

Nikki's Pizza is some of the best Pizza in Detroit imho (believe that's by Greek town as well)
Turkey Grill has the best Cajun turkey meals you will ever taste, I guarantee you will move to Detroit after that.
Summit Restaurant in the RenCen-The whole place spins around and it overlooks the Detroit river...not sure if it's still their though
