Good Eats at Toronto?

Looking for mostly cheaps eats like chinese/asian dim sum.

Any recommendations & or websites to look into?
 
For Dim Sum, go to Chinese Perfect Buffet by Sheppard and Brimley. :smokin

Rol San, although sometimes it can be hit or misss

or Korean Grill House if you want All you can eat KRN bbq for cheap and good.

I second Pho 88, it's been my favourite pho store downtown before renovations. Now, it's really different from the typical pho experience, still, great food though for less than $10.

I'd also recommend either Salad King or Made in China which are both north of Yonge/Dundas. Made in China has 5.99 daily specials which includes a drink, but overall both would probably come up to around $10-15.

If you want korean food, my friends tell me that Joon's near Bathurst station is pretty good and cheap too. Again, around 10 dollars a person. Korean Grill House is also pretty good, but I've lost taste for all you can eat korean bbq a while ago. After 10:00pm it only costs $9.99 for each person so it's not bad.

But yeah, if a lot of people contribute, this thread would be really useful.

niji on ellesmere and midland is a nice japanese restaurant. great sushi at a reasonable price
 
I second Rol San, best deal for dim sum in the chinatown area
KINGS NOODLES, also on spadina has pretty good chinese food, <$10 ,worth givin' a shot
 
Yeah? I always look at King Noodles but I don't think that I'd be able to actually decide on what to eat. Anything you recommend?
 
their bbq is decent, pork, chicken, duck,
pick one or two and hv it w/ rice, not bad at all :pimp:

anything out in mississauga?Besides tremendous?Also mexican food???Besides taco hell..found a spot out in streetsville called Cantina mexicana and that was decent but I know toronto can do better.

Pho's:
Train Pho - dutty food, dutty waiters, dutty kitchen
Pho 88 - alot cleaner and thier pho is good, the rice plates with beef/chicken or beef/pork is dope too
PhoMyHung (keele street off the 401) - nice modern looking place, the pho is perfect there.
Pho Hung @ spadina just north of dundas - best pho downtown for a good price

DimSum:
Dragon City top level - good
ChinaTown Centre top floor - use to be the best (shut down)
.....typically dim sum is for old folks and young kids so i dont know too much about that...

Korean Pork Bone Soup
Ka chi @ bloor and palmerston - $6 meal, u get your money's worth and its a good meal for the upcoming winter days.

Congee:
Congee Wong - best congee in Toronto, got other @#%$ that is bomb too, straight HK cooking.

best mall for fast food Scarborough town centre ( I would sooo rep a Scar town mall fitted, lol)
best french food Le Papillion
best mexican Rancho Relaxo
best fish n' chips McCowan fish and chips (I've seen dudes licking the plate when they're done, eww)
best pizza Mamma's pizzeria
best italian food Mistura
best fine dining The School
best buffet Mandarin

yeah I'm going to have to go with Korean Grill House on Queen, I can spend 3 hours there each sitting. It's relatively cheap, and the food is reallllygood.
 
Also for late nights Franz on Victoria and Shuter just East of The Eaton Centre and North of Massey Hall.
 
lol best buffet mandarin? nawwwwwwwww not too sure which one is the best though. Johnny's hamburgers if youre in scarborough, vp/sheppard
