i was bored and thought this would be helpful to many people.
we all know that usps boxes are always too small or too big to ship shoes in. i figured out a resourceful way to make custom boxes for shoeboxes of all sizes (excluding big boxes i.e. dmp, bmp etc..)
first thing you need is 2 of the USPS "shoebox" boxes, tape, and a blade or scissors.
here
first, take both boxes and seal the bottoms with the provided adhesive on the box.
next, cut out one side off of each box
next, insert shoebox into one of the boxes
insert other box to exposed side of shoebox within the first shoebox
seal both adhesive's on top of the boxes.
wrap tape around open seams and voila.
hope this helps. it really makes a difference when you dont have to pay for the bigger boxes at the post office or when they charge you extra for using big boxes due to the change in shipping rates..
