Has anybody had criminal charges expunged? Looking for feedback/comments.

I was in the process of regaining my clearance with OPM investigations and adjudication and to make the process easier and less daunting, I was getting charges that had been dismissed/noille prosse expunged off my record.  I was just curious if anyone had an experience with this and/or insight.  I have some of the paperwork and forms outlining this and have contacted the court clerks and such.

It's easy. Pay the money, fill out the form, bring a copy to the courthouse and the police station/local burea investigation agency. And, that's that.

Yeah it semmed tooooo easy almost...It had four steps.  I was like what is the catch?  Does the judge just expunge any and everything or is it based on a certain criteria.
