HDTV problem, new cable connection, won't find channels

I have a Hannspree Xv 32" LCD TV from early 2007. It's always worked fine with cable connections and in every other way. I just moved to a new placeand had basic cable installed but for some reason when I try to auto scan or manual scan for channels it won't find any.

My main TV in the living room works, it finds channels perfectly with an HD antenna but won't work in my room, guest room or living room. Tried differentcables and everything. Any idea what I can try before I call the cable company in the morning? Tried it on TV and DTV just in case.

if its comcast you have to get their new digital box.
