HELP! Angelus white looks off white

Hey all, the first time I’ve tried painting shoes and the Angelus white doesn’t match. I’ve watched all the videos out there and found a few threads here about it. All the pictures and videos I’ve seen the white matches up.

Thoughts?

Did you shake the bottle well before using the paint?
How old is your bottle of white?
Was the brush you used clean?
