I tried to see if someone made a post about this but couldn't find anything. If someone has a solution in another thread, by any means, point me to it and I'll delete this.

So, my phone screen basically shattered and the screen went nuts over night and went into disabled mode and I can't get the data or back up the phone to erase and restore. Does anyone know of a way to get the pics/vids off of the phone before I have to erase it. I do not have a back up on icloud or itunes. I have an iPhone 7 if that matters.

Thanks in advance.

Carry it to one of those mall kiosks places. There is no reason for you not to have a backup other than the phone is stolen

Is the phone recognized when you plug into a computer?

My computer recognizes it but itunes keeps asking me to type the pw on my phone when the screen is showing the disabled message.

Yes there is.. especially since I didn't steal my own phone. My computer did not have enough space to back up and I was being hard headed about buying icloud which is such a freaking rip off. After fighting myself, I ended up buying some storage to back it up and was having some minor issues trying to get it going and ended up having to leave for work (about two weeks ago).

Never got around to doing the icloud back up and then this happened over the weekend. The kiosk fixed the screen but it's still disabled.. hopefully someone can give me something more helpful. I get that it may be over and everything will just be lost, but Im trying. Figure someone on NT must be in the tech business and might know something.

Just take your phone to one of those mall kiosks...

Here's the other article that tells you what happens when your phone is disabled

The mall kiosks don't do anything but fix the screen if it's cracked or broken. A mall kiosk has my phone right now. They have fixed the screen and Im picking it up later but its still disabled. Same thing with the link (thanks for trying), I have seen it more times than I can count since Sunday and they just say wipe the phone if its disabled.
