Following its release of the V700 Cadillac CTS-V, Hennessy has revealed the V1000 CTS-V, as if the last model wasn’t fast enough. As the name suggests, the V1000 packs a 1,000 horsepower, 950 lb-ft of torque twin-turbo LS V8 that features several updates, including forged low compression pistons and other forged elements.

Additional upgrades include increased width, 15-inch carbon ceramic brakes to bring all that power to a stop, a lowered suspension, a fortified transmission and Hennessey’s CarbonAero widebody kit. The v1000 is also 200lbs lighter than the normal CTS-V.

As a special treatment, buyers will receive a one day track experience with retired General Motors test driver John Heinricy. Although pricing has yet to be released, Hennessey plans to build just 12 of the V1000 Cadillac CTS-V, so act fast if you want one.

This car scares the crap out of me to be real

not bout that G-force

I never understood this, putting all that power to the ground is difficult to say the least. If you're gonna go for 900+HP, make sure its AWD.

Seen this in person and some 70 year old was driving it. Dude pulls out a map and ask me if he is close to route 18.... im like THERES GPS IN THE CAR.

So you saw this car in person?

Nice, but I would be scared taking that on the open road. I wouldn't respect it's power and would end up killing/hurting myself.

Acceleration:

it will be much faster than 3.5 sec, I'll give it a second test run
