Wait a couple months and run a back-cover print ad in GQ and Esquire of a man in khaki pants and a red shirt...

...kinda rip off the Star Wars: Episode One poster that showed Young Anakin against the wall with a shadow of Darth Vader - show the back of a man in khakipants and a red polo shirt wearing a golf cap, and in his silouette/shadow you see an illuminated watch.

...tagline reads: "Time heals all wounds..."

Place the Tag Heuer logo on the bottom right, and run the ad one time and one time only.

Not really my dude, just beer drinkin' and brainstormin - I saw on ESPN's ticker that they're stickin' with him for now and just thought abouthow I'd spin it if it came across my desk...

...we've been through Vick and Kobe - we all know this will pass, why not set a trend and be the first corporation to show a public display of loyalty to afallen comrade? Tiger will come back, and the return will be lucrative - Accenture was stupid.

The implication being... if you cheat on your wife with scores of women, buy her/yourself a watch and everything will be better? This is either brilliant oridiotic, and it's not brilliant.

The implication being that Tag Heuer sells high end watches, many men who can easliy afford the high end watches sold by Tag Heuer are excecutives or variousprofessionals, many excecutive and various professional men have cheated on their wives, many of their wives have forgiven them, many of those men havesignificant sympathy for Tiger and his present predicament, and those men would appreciate the ad and the only company that's publicly standing behind him.

And if all else fails, the ad has thrown your brand into the middle of every conversation...

Even if it speaks to a certain group of people, who have in fact cheated on their wives, you still don't want to in any way encourage or associate yourproduct with that kind of behavior.

They stand to make just as much off Tiger by continuing with their regular advertisements and not draw any more attention to this scandal than necessary.

I think that would be great... controversy is good... more people will know and see it... seems like a good idea to me if they decide to stick with it

Dumb as hell. To stand by him is one thing, but they can't make an ad about it.
