Yes, the plan is to produce more apparel - providing the stuff already in existence sells reasonable. You've seen the 8th anniversary one right?

That depends on you all. If you demonstrate that you really want more NikeTalk apparel products in the future, it'll probably happen dependingon staff availability to process and ship orders.

At this point, I think it might be something you'd see once or twice a year rather than on a continual basis. The only reason we have two shirts hitting insuch close proximity is because the first shirt took longer than anticipated to release and the second required proximity to our anniversary: which is December10th.

Future releases will be spaced further apart and in all likelihood you won't see another one for awhile. It's possible that we might offer apparelitems beyond t-shirts, like a hat or a hoody, at some point. We'll see how it goes. Sales thus far have been steady but not spectacular. If they wereflying out of the warehouse (read: steez's garage), then we'd probably be eager to make this a regular event and raise a great deal of money forcharity. As it stands, you'll probably see more small run products (like the 175 piece anniversary shirt) in the future since you guys aren't giving usthe sense that you really want a large quantity.

No. This idea has been suggested by our members back when the only recognized sneaker magazine was "Kicks." It just doesn't makesense. Why would we hold out on content for a magazine when it's all posted here live? If you MUST have pictures of shoes and third rate rent-a-models totape to the inside of your locker or leaf through while in the bathroom, you can pick up a sneaker magazine that's practically designed for illiterates.NikeTalk is about communication.

The lead time required to print a magazine would ensure that everything would be old news by the time it arrived - and securing an "exclusive"apparently means bending over and shilling for sneaker companies to the point where other shoe related "magazines" have all the editorial integrityof a pottery barn catalog or a wrasslin' magazine.

NikeTalk is independent, it's run by sneaker fans FOR sneaker fans, and it's about SHARING rather than SELLING. Our goals are simply incompatible withhoarding, "borrowing", and bribing others for content to print and resell. NikeTalk's content comes from YOU, our members, and it should be freefor everyone and available immediately.

Only a couple types of specialty publications make any sense in this area and, at this point, we have no interest in it. NikeTalk completely obviates the needfor a lifestyle/news periodical.

NT events around the country?
We don't sponsor events ourselves, but our members independently organize summits in their areas all the time. Check the regional forums tofind or help organize an upcoming summit near you.
