Drake is hard at work on his forthcoming major-label debut and has tallied some time in the studio with Kanye West, so far, among others.

The So Far Gone rapper revealed to GQ that he'd spent some time in Hawaii recently with West working on his album as well as the Chicago superstar's next effort.  "More like we work on his album until he gets tired," Drake joked about the process. "His album is going to be one of the best hip-hop albums of the last 10 years."

Kanye has never disappointed. Ever. As far as consistency goes, there's really no question. I can't wait.

I really hope that when they say its "real hiphop" they aren't talking about it like Mr. Hudson says. I expect something progressive from Kanye I love his ability to sample. If its just a drum machine its going to be boring. If i wanted to hear something like the beasty boys i would listen to rap music from the 80s and 90s. Its 2010 i want something new and forward. I don't want old school.

Every one of his hip hop albums have gotten better and better. Would anyone really be surprised if this one is a classic?

Reading all that stuff has me hyped. I like the fact that he is working with Pete Rock and DJ Premier. I really think Kanye believes that he has a alot to prove on this album and if there is any artist that I have faith that will produce great music from adversity then it is Kanye.
