Saw a few people mention it on Twitter and took a look. Takes a bit for it to get in a rhythm, but once it did, I was laughing at nearly every scene.

Anyone else watching?

How many minutes in exactly does the "rhythm" kick in? Cause I was 7:30 min. in and stopped watching cause it was boring...

Edit. upon further review...i guess its supposed to be a comedy. the main character is a parody of a wanna be don wanna be top boy skeng man lord of the yaad type.

But it kinda fell flat. I chuckled here and there cuz i skipped around.

It's probably funner to people who actually grew up around there but even as someone with high exposure to black british culture, it still wasn't that great.

Edit again: ok its kinda funny actually at certain parts when you watch it straight through. it builds on itself

UK yaad people are hilarious. Bit they definitely get away with more than US yaad folk in terms of slang and what not. The term "HOODdocumentary" would get you flamed for weeks roun my area.
