Statues are cool, they really are...but I like to switch them up and the statues are too static for me

It's strange that I wasn't exactly looking for this thread, but one day after ordering my first figure, I come across this thread. I know these are pretty spot on representations, but why da eff are they so expensive?

I've been collecting them for years and I think it's a mix of licensing fee's, both from studio's and actual person, plus just them knowing they can keep going up in price and folks will continue eat them up...myself included. I mean, they just released an $800+ Hulkbuster Pre-Order and folks did not blink an eye....

I may have to settle for Thriller Mike though as I was planning on having a Mike (Tyson, Jordan, Jackson) display setup on one of my detolf shelves
