We're back again guys. Time for this team to piss some more people off again, from the national media to the blogs, to NT itself. Last year it was "we gutted our bench for Chris Paul" and "Paul and Harden are two ball dominant players, it won't work". It clearly worked, even though unfortunately, due to Paul's injury, we didn't get the job done. Now it's a new year, a handful of new players, and more new excuses from other folks that'll low-ball us. Melo has been getting trashed already, as expected. The James Ennis signing has basically been ignored. MCW, who people have laughed at, will probably end up being a signing that people claim will ruin another potential MVP campaign for Harden. MCW, Melo, and James Ennis will be "too much help" soon enough, I can feel it. As much as I am a fan of Ariza and Luc, and appreciate what they did for the Rockets, both of them being gone was probably what was needed. No way were we paying Ariza close to what he wanted, and I'm still sure that going forward, Luc's shoulder will be a problem. I also think Ariza will be signing back here early '19 as a buyout 
. Paul and Capela locked up is exactly what I wanted and what was needed. Other fan bases and the general media think the Rockets have taken a step back heading into this season, but I'm sure a lot of us know the real deal, and everyone else will learn that soon enough. They have ample time to start moving goal posts. Peace out to Ryan Anderson 
another move that was needed. He simply lost a ton of confidence and became a complete liability. The jury will be out on Marquese Chriss and Brandon Knight. There's a chance neither may even be on the team in the next few weeks....or, both end up producing well in bench time. I'm hopeful for the former to make a generous return, and I'm hopeful for the latter come playoff time. Knight will still be rehabbing as far as I know. Here's to another season where the minimum is the WCF. Barring something catastrophic, I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be looking forward to Rockets vs Warriors III. Let the show begin
