How did you become a fan of your teams?

when i started following sports closely, it was easiest to follow the local teams. went to texas a&m. simple.

49ers-Dad out me onto them when I was a kid
Warriors-Dad put me on to the bulls early in life but eventually rooted for the Warriors since they were the local team.

First NBA Finals I really sat down and paid attention to was the 99 Finals. Dad was a die hard Knicks fan and I just got into the Spurs because of that series. Was never gonna care about any other team ever. I ended up liking the Bengals cause the Jerseys looked cool and thats just how little kids do thing sometimes.
