Background: I keep my sneaker collection in my room at my parents' house. However, my room was an addition to the house and it is not connected to the home's central heating. Because of this, the room can get very cold in the winter (more or less 40 degrees F). I'm worried about the coldness potentially damaging some of my shoes.
I'll be moving out of my parent's house in about a month into a small apartment so I can't take my collection with me. Also, I can't move my collection into another part of my parents' house as there isn't enough space. I thought about maybe putting a tarp around my collection to try to shield it from the coldness, but that probably won't be enough. Any ideas as to how I can keep my collection warm for the winter?
