How Do I STOP A Payment from being debited?

Well, I #*+!%* up my finances and realized I am going to be short in my checking account when the YMCA trys to debit me tomorrow.

Can I call Chase bank tonight and tell them not to let the YMCA debit me so I don't get hit with an overdraft?!?

tell them you lost you're card to and to "freeze" it in the meantime.

You can do a stop payment
but its not free
