I get that it's good to have high self esteem and so forth, but it's people who really have their heads so far up their you know what that it's sickening. It's like, they have that "all about me" mentality and don't care for others. How do people deal with those types of people? It could be from friends, family, GF/BF, and etc.

One of my closest friends is like this :{ you just gotta tell them about themselves, i mean we all have insecurities and narcasis are no different
How I deal with it is ****** up humour, but I tend to rub it in his face whenever he catches the L.. it helps keeps his self esteem below average.

Ex. When his chick left him for this older hood *****, I said his pipe game was weak, when a girl he's feeling is feeling me or one of the other homies I tell'em its cause his game is wack, never miss the chance to gloat whenever I whoop that *** in 2k, COD and other ****....
all in all tho he's still my dawg, aint no disorder or nothing just a little ********ness in him.

The whole damn world are Lex Luger at this point. Grown folks snapping selfies every dead moment of their day.

Was sitting behind 2 girls that took 12 selfies in a row before they got the "right one."

    Obsession

I got a homie who's too cocky. Not like to the point of it being a problem. It just gives me a lot of fuel to clown the hell out of him whenever he does something wrong. Straight roasting him to bring him down a peg. :lol

    That my boy though.

Being narcissistic and have narcissistic personality disorder are two different things

^ Yeah, two ENTIRELY different things. :lol A run of the mill d-bag is easy to deal with IMO...just keep them at bay and limit your time with them.

OP, you'd know if you ever dealt with someone with true NPD. Those are the folks you basically don't deal with. There is very little hope for something healthy coming out of those relationships. And ironically, they generally have the lowest self-esteem ever.
