How do you guys feel about V Necks?

My friend whose kind of chubby asked me earlier today that he wanted to roc one but he's afraid what other people think. I just told him to wear what helikes and that V necks on chubby people aren't that bad. Its just a matter if you can pull it off or not. So whats your guys opinion?
