Yeah the 7 cities is cool. Born and raised here. Your going to run into mostly people that aren't from VA. The area is heavy military. VA isas southern as any other state. I grew up in one of the surrounding counties outside of the 7 cities (15 min outside of Newport News) and there are plantationsstill standing, a lot of rednecks, and other stuff you typically see or hear about in the south.
