Depending on where you're from it's not that stupid of a question.

In North America it is typically pronounced "Nye-kee" however, in many European countries and others such as NZ they pronounce it as a single sylable "Nyek"

I worked at a Nike store for a couple years and I can tell you, no people came in there calling it Nyke.
