??? I want to listen to the music on my iphone in the car and I'm not trying to drop no $50 on a fm transmitter.... @%#! I don't even know what's thedifference.
the cassete adapters are not that bad depending on the system your car has, just dont blast the volume on both the ipod and car because it will come out alldistorted
They dont sound that bad once you change the equalizer on your ipod. Just don't buy one from the Apple store/brand. Sony makes a good one.
What stores have them for cheap? Walmart? Frys? Best Buy? Change the settings to what? Right now I have it on treble booster
^^^I was about to say...my dads sony tapedeck adapter isn't halfbad. But i bought a cheap nice ipod connector at staple for $25.
tape deck is alot better than the fm transmitter. obviously it wont be as good as an aux cable, but its pretty good. i got one for my bro off of amazon.com just look at the ratings on there, u can get one for under $20-30 thats pretty good
cassette adapters > fm transmitters, btw you can get one at walmart. my friend bought a monster one for like 30 dollars and he said it was POS. bought onefrom walmart for like 5 dollars and said it worked 100 times better
Any particular brand? And I'd rather go and pick it up at a store ASAP then have to wait for shipping.
^ just the man I was looking for... When I went to walmart I didnt see any that cheap, they had one by Maxwell that was like $15 though. You know what kind hehas?
no idea really, but you shouldnt spend that much money on a cassette adapter (anything over 20 is OD IMO). try out the maxwell, you can always return it if youdon't like it. the problem he had with his monster adapter was that it made a lot of noise when it was inside the deck. with the walmart one he bought itwas a lot more quiet and the sound was decent for what it was. of course, aux is the best way to go but adapters aren't bad. FM transmitters are a POS,especially if you live in a big city. there are very few free stations and you have to constantly change station.
When you say it made a lot of noise you mean it had interference through the speakers? Or do you mean just coming from the deck itself?
coming from the deck. you could hear the tape working, i mean if you play your music extremely loud you won't notice it. but still, for what he paid itshould be silent. but with the one he got at walmart you couldn't hear anything. just don't get anything from monster. all their cables/adapters areover priced. you can get one from Belkin for like 10 dollars if you go to amazon or you can check out best buy, they carry Belkin products also. or sony.
The auxiliary cable would be the best cable, but if you don have the jack in your stereo deck, a tape deck is the next best way. I use it in mineand it sounds fine.
way better than the transmitters in my experience. the transmitters get interference from time to time. you have to find new stations when you drive throughdifferent towns too. if you have a tape deck, go with the adapter.
not true. It's not bad. Just set the volume on your ipod to about half and you should be good. You can find a cheap one at Radio Shack or Best Buy.
they work pretty good when my flipout was stolen i used the stock tape deck and the quality was pretty good
Idk too much about them, but one of my friends had one and I know you shouldn't have the volume on the ipod at more than 50%.
