How would you rate Stan Van Gundy as a coach?

Word of advice: Just because you make it to the Finals as a coach, doesn't mean you're a good coach.

He gets hated on because he is short, fat, and annoying. But has done the best job of any coach in the leage this season. The Magic do not have the bestplayers in the East, yet they are the best team in the East. They start a sleeper rookie and an unwanted PG for crying out loud. Their superstar can'tshoot outside 5 feet. They play a Euro big guy (rookie?) no ones ever heard of.

Win or lose he has still been a great coach this year
 
after what went down at the end of his tenure in miami this has to feel real good for him.

he took the pre shaq heat to the 2nd round in wades rookie year and they played the heat tough.

the magic took their 1st steps last year by going to the 2nd round and now their in the finals, he seems like a smart coach that gameplans well which has meknowing he'll have his team ready to come play thursday.

i like him and think he's a good coach but hopefully it becomes a tradition that every 10 years a van gundy has to lose in the finals.
