New purples arrived today. Here they are next to the 2018 pair. The shape and angle is obviously much improved, visually. Old pair is an obviously brighter purple. Like all the new Huaraches, the rear section of the strap isn’t as tall as on the previous version. Overall, I definitely prefer the way the new ones look, but I’ll keep wearing the old ones before I switch to the new pair. I do prefer the brighter purple, but offhand I don’t recall which color is more accurate to the OG.

I think a lot of recent shoes flex at that point, I've noticed it in the last two years, mainly Nikes and Jordans.

BTW, just have seen those listed on NDC-JP as coming soon along w/ the purple one that has OG patch on the tongue. Anyway, this one is Wmns only… At first site, I thought that Concords are finally releasing here, but color description attached can be read as “White/Lapis/Deep Royal Blue/Black”…

Just checked out what I thought it was “Concord” and learned more confusing thing. It actually is “White/Lapis/Aluminum/Black”, so these 2 are really close colorway-wise, but as u can see from the pic, this one’s tongue patch is Black…
