Humpback Whales Almost Swallow Divers

Extraordinary footage captures the moment two divers are nearly eaten by the giant mammals after swimming into a school of fish.

Two divers were in the ocean near Avila Beach in southern California shooting underwater footage when they were surrounded by a shoal of crill, forced up to the surface by hunting whales.

Caught among the giant mammals' prey, the divers swim frantically for shelter as a pair of humpback whales break the surface to feed.

”You’re going to have to do more to clean that wetsuit,” a crew member jokes as the men clamber back ontp their boat.

The breath-taking film was shot near Souza Rock on the Central California coast by Jay Hebrard and Shawn Stamback.

They looked like they were just floating there, and then whale. Not what I thought it was going to be. That would be an awesome experience, sure anyone can watch a whale breach the surface. But right next to you? That's got to be worth something.

I fear the open sea. They were trying to eat those fish swarming everywhere. They would have eaten those people and kept it movin no problo.

yo i am from miami and people stay clowning but ya boy dont even mess with the beach , ill go to the beach and smoke , chill all day on the sand , yall can have the water ....last time i actually went in the water was cause my ex wanted to smash in the water , ya boy it her with that minute man and swam back ashore
